Acoustics and Piezoelectricity: Esaote to Speak at the COMSOL Conference Milan 2012
Valerio Marra | July 25, 2012
As Program Chair of the COMSOL Conference in Milan this year, I’m excited to announce that Marco Cati will be a keynote speaker presenting his design and optimization of ultrasound imaging systems at his company, Esaote S.p.A..
This is great news for acoustics enthusiasts, transducers designers, and piezoelectric components manufacturers. They will have the opportunity to meet with an expert COMSOL Multiphysics user in their area of interest. Marco will share the tips & tricks involved in his multiphysics modeling and explain how simulations have been integrated into the development process of Esaote’s ultrasound imaging systems. Further, he will illustrate how modeling can be used to improve the quality and delivery of components from OEMs as well.
Who is Esaote S.p.A.?
Headquartered in Italy, Esaote is a global leader in the production of medical diagnostics systems, and a well-established ultrasound manufacturer in Europe. The company consists of over 1,350 employees where 20% are active in R&D. Esaote is ranked as one of the Top 10 leading diagnostic imaging companies in the world.
