COMSOL at ECCOMAS 2012 in Vienna
Lars Fromme | August 20, 2012
COMSOL is a Gold Sponsor for ECCOMAS 2012, to be held at the University of Vienna, Austria on September 10-14. ECCOMAS 2012 is the 6th European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering with more than 2,000 scientists and engineers attending.
ECCOMAS is a great opportunity to meet researchers and stay up-to-date with the latest in computational methods and simulation. We will have a booth located in close vicinity to the lecture halls and we’re holding workshops on all conference days. Here we will show the fundamental workflow of the COMSOL Multiphysics modeling environment. We will work through a multiphysics example to demonstrate the speed and efficiency of the COMSOL tools. The key modeling steps; geometry creation, materials, setting up physics, meshing, solving, and postprocessing, will be addressed. Upon completion of this workshop, attendees will be off to a great start using COMSOL. We will provide all participants with a 2-week free trial of the software. Details and registration for these workshops can be found here.
We are excited to represent COMSOL at ECCOMAS 2012 in Vienna and we are looking forward to meeting you there too!
