COMSOL Conference 2013 Call for Papers
It’s finally that time of year again when we welcome abstracts for papers and posters to be presented at the COMSOL Conference. COMSOL enthusiasts, this is your opportunity to share your incredible work with the entire world through the COMSOL Conference 2013, to be conducted in Boston, Bangalore, and Rotterdam.
Presenting at the COMSOL Conference 2013 — Papers or Posters
There are two different modes of presenting your work at the COMSOL Conference: either with a paper or a poster. All oral presentations for submitted papers are grouped together based on the topic area, and are conducted as parallel sessions open for all attendees during the event. The posters will be displayed all at once in the gallery for all attendees to enjoy throughout the Conference. We will also have designated “Poster Sessions” — one of the Conference highlights as it provides a great forum for poster presenters to showcase their work in a casual environment.
About the Abstract Submission Process
Let me explain how the process works. Once you submit your abstract it will go to the Program Committee for review. We will then send you the approval notice by August 8th for Bangalore, August 16th for Boston, and August 30th for Rotterdam submissions, respectively. Curious about who will review your abstract? Our Program Committee is comprised of stalwarts from both industry and prestigious educational institutes. We will tell you more about the COMSOL Conference 2013 Program Committee and who is involved in a future blog post, so stay tuned for that!
Why should you Present at the Conference?
If you present a paper or a poster at the COMSOL Conference you will get a chance to showcase your work in the popular COMSOL Conference User Presentations collection. In other words, your work will be shared with a worldwide audience of 100,000+ people. As many of you know, this is not the first time we’re doing that; feel free to browse the papers and posters from last year’s COMSOL Conference for inspiration. You can also check out the work that was presented at our multiphysics events in previous years here.
Last but not least, I’d like to point out an additional benefit for early abstract submissions. If you submit your abstract before the Early Bird Deadline, you will avail a conference registration fee discount. For more information on that and other important dates, suggested topic areas, and to submit your abstract visit the respective COMSOL Conference 2013 pages:
