Beta Edition of COMSOL Multiphysics Version 4.0 Released at Fifth Annual COMSOL Conference

COMSOL Desktop streamlines the product design workflow for maximum productivity. The new Model Builder with its unique graphical programming tool guides users from model creation to simulation results while providing full control and complete oversight of their simulation tasks. CAD connections are extended with the new LiveLink™ for Pro/ENGINEER® as well as enhanced Parasolid® support for importing and exporting geometry. New large-capacity simulation solvers and built-in cluster scheduling for high performance computing (HPC) enable users to create more accurate models that solve faster.

Hi,

since I could not attend the conference: thank you for the information.

Will the beta be shipped out to people not attending the conference as well?

When will the final version be released?

Best regards
Matthias
