contact discretization linear vs quadratic

I am trying to solve contact problem. And what I found on this forum, someone suggests that sometimes it is helpful to change displacement discretization from quadratic to linear with still contact pressure linear. But as I know, with same meshing size, the displacement of model is different between linear and quadratic setting. And I test with several combination like the following this:

finer mesh linear case, extreme mesh linear case, fine quadratic and finer quadratic.

All results are different.

I am very confusing about this.

Is there someone to explain about this?
