modeling of bone
Hello!
I wanted to know if it is compulsory to use an equation based model if we are 2 study some stress and force properties on a 3-d model say bone.Given appropriate parameters and material details to the geometry, does it solve the purpose of representing a bone? Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Re: modeling of bone
Hi
Bone is a porous material, most probably non linear, certainly if you are on "long term" time scale, but if you have the equivalent material properties you could at least work in the linear elastic regime

Good luck
