High current output
Hi everyone,
I am simulating a heat treatment with the induction heating module and I'm facing a problem concerning the single turn coil.
More specific I import as a coil excitation the a power of 640kW and I get a voltage of 120V and 10700A.
The voltage is fine, but the current is the double of what I expected. Any ideas of how can I fix this or check what's wrong?
Thank you!
Rosa

Re: High current output
Hi
could it be an issue with a mix of Amplitudes and RMS values ?

Re: High current output
I haven't specified any value as a rms so there is no mix. Right?

Re: High current output
Hi
not necessarily, normally we specify amplitudes, but depending on the physics (and the version) at some stage COMSOL proposed back RMS values for frequency sweep analysis, need to look up the appropriate doc (corresponding to your current version, or dig into the COMSOL equations (preferences view equations on)
