COMSOL, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Technical Writer to join our Marketing team in Burlington, MA location.
General description
As part of the Technical Marketing function, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining our marketing documentation such as user stories, white papers, and product and event descriptions. You are not required to be an expert in the subject you will write about but should be able to interview COMSOL employees and customers, and conduct all the research necessary to produce well-written, accurate, complete, concise, and inspiring documentation. You will also coordinate the documentation production by collaborating with other marketing and company functions, customers, and press contacts. Your role will encompass a vital part of the company’s business model and you will be expected to perform your duties with high standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain our marketing documentation
- Interview applications specialists and customers
- Conduct all the research necessary to produce well-written documentation
- Coordinate the production of documentation by collaborating with applications specialists and customers
- Public relations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or science with an aptitude for marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational- and time-management skills
- High energy, self-motivated, quick study with flexible nature
