COMSOL is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team in Palo Alto, CA. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our workshop and seminar plan in an expanding and exciting multinational enterprise. You will focus your energy on bringing growth to our workshop and seminar tour. Your function will encompass a vital part of the company’s business model, while you will also be expected to collaborate in other campaigns run by the Marketing department.
Responsibilities
- Management of year round marketing workshop and seminar plan
- Securing event venues, including negotiations with vendors
- Promotion of events through email, web announcements, telemarketing
- Coordinating production of event material
- Logistics and travel arrangements
- Ongoing reporting of results
- Participating in workshops and seminars and proactively taking measures to optimize our efforts
- Member of COMSOL Conference planning committee
- General support to Marketing department
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related area
- Efficient organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
