CO2 sequestration in deep geological formations is a carbon storage technique under development for the oil and gas industry. Guest speakers from AMPHOS 21 will discuss coupled nonlinear processes in large-scale models and how to use simulation to design and optimize CO2 injection facilities. This webinar will provide an introduction to simulating multiphase subsurface flows with COMSOL Multiphysics and features a model that couples the miscible multiphase flow equations in a simulation of CO2 injection under a syncline structure.
