Modeling of Capacitive and Resistive Devices

For many devices found in modern electronics, simulating currents, electric fields, and charge distribution in conductive and dielectric media is of key importance to the design process. Relevant examples include resistors, electrostatic actuators, capacitors, capacitive and resistive sensors, and insulation layers.

Multiphysics effects such as dielectric and resistive heating are considered; and in the case of actuators and sensors, electromechanical coupling may also occur.

This webinar explains the simulation of such devices in COMSOL Multiphysics. The presentation will include a live demonstration and a Q&A session.
