Fatigue Modeling with COMSOL Multiphysics

Modeling a phenomenon like fatigue is crucial to the development/testing of a new product.
It gives you an insight into the stresses & strains experienced over a period of time or the life
cycle of the product. Understanding these helps better anticipate the fatigue fractures of the product.

This webinar will introduce the fatigue module of COMSOL Multiphysics by exploring the various
methods used to model fatigue. The Findley, Matake, and Normal stress methods are used to
model the high-cycle or stress-based fatigue. The Smith-Watson-Topper, Wang-Brown, and
Fatemi-Socie methods are used to model low-cycle or strain-based fatigue.
