Overview of COMSOL Multiphysics
including a live demonstration

The first half of the workshop provides an overview of COMSOL Multiphysics: its capabilities, new features, enhanced functionality, and revamped graphical user interface. This will be of interest to both new and existing users of COMSOL.

We will examine the new, model-builder-based interface which, in addition to heightened efficiency, provides new functionality to modify and quickly adapt models. A 3-physics coupled example will be shown exemplifying both the speed and ease of the new work flow.

Hands-on Tutorial

The second part of the workshop is a hands-on tutorial in COMSOL:

  • Set up and solve your first simulation through a hands-on exercise
  • Learn about the capabilities of COMSOL within your application area
  • Get your two-week free trial and work on your own simulations helped by the COMSOL Support Team
