Introduction
This one-day course is open to anyone interested in using COMSOL Multiphysics for the mathematical modeling of physics phenomena. Learn how to use the COMSOL Multiphysics graphical user interface to model physics phenomena in a wide variety of application areas. Gain hands-on experience by creating and solving mathematical models step-by-step, and get an overview of COMSOL Multiphysics's capabilities and the modeling process.

- The COMSOL Multiphysics graphical user interface -- all the steps from creating a geometry to postprocessing
- Geometry import from other CAD programs
- 3D geometry-selection tools in COMSOL Multiphysics
- Modeling of heat transfer, electromagnetics, transport phenomena, and structural mechanics
- Introductory multiphysics modeling - the mutual coupling of multiple physics equations
- Parametric studies
Suggested Background
This course is suitable for anyone interested in using COMSOL Multiphysics for the mathematical modeling of physics phenomena such as heat transfer, transport phenomena, fluid dynamics, electromagnetics, photonics, structural mechanics, and acoustics. No previous experience with COMSOL Multiphysics is required.

Course Hours
The hours for this COMSOL course is from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm; please
plan to check in between 08:30 and 9:00 am. Lunch and refreshments
during the morning and afternoon breaks are included.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that your seat in the course can not be confirmed until payment
or a formal purchase order have been received.
Instructor-led training tuition is fully refundable if we receive written
notification (via mail or e-mail) of cancellation on or before seven business
days prior to the class. Cancellations made less than seven business days prior
to class will be charged 25 percent of the course tuition fee. If you fail to
show up to class without written notice, you will be charged the full tuition.
You may send a substitute in your place to avoid a fee.
If a training course cannot take place as scheduled due to circumstances
beyond COMSOL's control, we will issue a full refund for the amount that you
have already paid.
