The classical field of acoustics simulations involves the modeling of
acoustic-wave propagation in air and water, as well as solids. Yet, other
physics, such as structural mechanics in acoustic-structure interaction,
or electromagnetics, often need to be incorporated to adequately simulate
devices such as loudspeakers or SONAR transducers. This CD shows how a
number of acoustics-based applications can be simulated using COMSOL
Multiphysics and the Acoustics Module.
The audio-visual demonstrations on this CD describe:
- Classical acoustics modeling
- Acoustic-structure interaction
- Multiphysics modeling in a loudspeaker
- Aeroacoustics
