In this study, we extend the Convolution-Perfectly Matched Layer (C-PML) method we have developed for a first order system describing elastic waves in velocity and stress formulation to the same equation written as a second order system displacement.

We illustrate the efficiency of this second order Perfectly Matched Layer upon 2D benchmarks with surface waves and Lamb Waves.
