Taking COMSOL Multiphysics Beyond Traditional Finite Elements

John Dunec
Palo Alto, USA

This talk will give you some tips and tricks for using techniques in COMSOL Multiphysics that you might not have known about.

Keynote speaker's biography: John Dunec received his Ph.D. from Stanford, specializing in numerical simulation of thermal-fluid systems. He has over two decades of experience in the field: first as a product engineer and manager at IBM, then at Centric Systems -an early Multiphysics FEA startup- and since the early 90's, as an engineering consultant, heading Venture Product. He has taught mathematical and numerical analysis at Stanford as a teaching assistant, and at UC Santa Cruz through their evening college.

John Dunec was one of the keynote speakers at the COMSOL User's Conference, fall 2005 in Boston
