COMSOL expands coverage in Europe with new office in Italy
A native of Sweden, Mr. Ericsson earned his masters in civil engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm and wrote his thesis based on COMSOL Multiphysics. Shortly thereafter he joined the company's design team. He has been in charge of Italian sales, working out of the Stockholm office, since 2001.
He is joined by a new COMSOL employee, Mr. Gian Luigi Zanotelli. Mr. Zanotelli earned his masters at Politecnico di Milano in 1990. He has been working with computer-aided engineering for 15 years, and his knowledge of the field is not only important to COMSOL but also to the rapid growth of the COMSOL Multiphysics users in Italy.
The decision to establish an office in Italy comes as a result of the significant success COMSOL has enjoyed in this country as scientists and engineers in all branches of research, industry, and education discover the benefits of COMSOL Multiphysics for the mathematical simulation of virtually any physical process. "COMSOL has seen a large growth of users in Italy for the past several years. Now it's time to establish a local sales and support organization in order to ensure full customer satisfaction," comments Mr. Ericsson.
