Piezoelectric Features Overview

This is an overview presentation on the elastic waves and piezoelectric modeling features of COMSOL Multiphysics. The focus here is on piezo-features and especially COMSOL's strength in that you are allowed to mix dielectric, elastic, and piezoelectric material models in just about any way imaginable.
The presentation also highlights the ability to use and visualize multiple coordinate systems to define material properties in a multilayered structure. This is useful for simulating different poling directions and crystal cuts in piezo materials.
Information is also provided on advanced features and boundary conditions which allows the calculation of lumped parameters such as impedance, admittance and S-parameters.
