Microstrip on a Printed Circuit Board

A voltage generator feeds a microstrip on a circuit board using an interior lumped port boundary condition.

The model calculates the microstrip impedance and compares two terminations; a numerical port using boundary-mode analysis, and a simple lumped port termination with an impedance matched to the microstrip impedance.
