If you are curious about what is possible with multiphysics simulation, then we have a series of upcoming events for you: COMSOL Days. These free, 1-day, online events include sessions on multiphysics modeling and simulation apps, talks from simulation engineers in different industries, and more. At COMSOL Days, you have the opportunity to come together with fellow engineers, researchers, scientists, and simulation practitioners. Throughout these events, the sessions are designed for discussion and conversation.

For instance, during panel discussions, moderators ask thoughtful questions relevant to the topic or industry, and panelists and attendees can contribute to the conversation. Many COMSOL Day events also feature exciting talks from invited speakers who are using simulation in their industries in intuitive ways.

2. Learn Skills to Improve Your Modeling

COMSOL Day sessions held by our technical product managers and applications engineers will provide you with in-depth experience and knowledge of multiphysics simulation and app building. Speakers use a mix of presentation and live demonstration, and questions from the audience are encouraged throughout the sessions. Our goal is to make sure you gather useful modeling advice and gain confidence to apply it to your own projects.

In the more specialized Tech Cafés, you are able to discuss your modeling projects with COMSOL technical staff, ask questions, and provide product feedback — in effect, the audience drives the direction of these sessions.

Bonus: After you attend a COMSOL Day event, you can put your new skills to use by taking advantage of a free, two-week trial of the latest version of the COMSOL Multiphysics® software. Attendees will also be able to access recordings and slide presentations from the event.

I can only confirm that over now my close to 20 years of COMSOLing, my boost in productivity has come particularly the last years by observing the COMSOL presentations, especially those with demonstrations of model building (i.e. the 40+ hours of demos of Walter Frei since 2020, and many more, see i.e. ).

As each of the COMSOL specialists has his “tricks” and ways to be efficient. So even if you know 80% already of the subject presented, the 20% remaining can give you important information and allow you to be far more efficient to build up your models and get them running.
And as COMSOL is rather “square”, so by analogy, you may apply most tricks to very different physics and to discover new approaches to become even more efficient running your models.

So I’ll definitively follow as many as possible
