Modelling Electrode-Electrolyte Boundary

Hello Comsol Community,

I want to start a new simulation about the measurement of eclectrical conductivity in fluids.
The objective is to display polarisation effects at the electrodes. It is known that the double layer capacitance varies with varying potential and frequency. This is the reason for conductivity sensors showing nonlinear measurement values at very high and low conductivities.

The model shall consist of a solid electrode (e.g. steel) domain and a liquid electrolyte domain (e.g. NaCl solution with 1 mS/cm). I want to start with an excitation of 1 V @ 500 Hz. What I want to see is the potential drop at the edge of the electrode-electrolyte boundary that is caused by the double layer.

Unfortunately I am not very familiar with electrochemistry, that is why I ask you to give me any hints that could help me getting started!

So please let me know if you are aware of some simple mistakes that I should avoid or if you have any other experience with a familiar project.
