The Future of Modeling Is Here

See how you can deploy the power of high-fidelity simulation to engineers, designers, operators, and scientists throughout your organization.

Introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics®

Learn the fundamental workflow of COMSOL Multiphysics®. This introductory demonstration will show you all of the key modeling steps, including geometry creation, setting up physics, meshing, solving, and postprocessing.

Coffee Break

Learn about the Acoustics Module and how it can be used to model sounds waves, their propagation, and their interaction with solids at both small and large scales. Use cases include nondestructive testing, speakers, microphones, and sonar.

Invited Speakers

Get an overview of using the CFD Module for laminar, turbulent, non-Newtonian, and multiphase flows as well as flow in microfluidic devices. We will discuss conjugate heat transfer with the combination of heat transfer in solids and heat transfer in fluids, including thermal radiation effects. These phenomena could also be coupled with structural mechanics, chemical reactions, and particle tracing.

Coffee Break

Get an overview of the shape and topology optimization capabilities available in the COMSOL® software. Shape optimization involves the free-form deformation of a CAD part by means of the mesh and geometry deformation tools in COMSOL Multiphysics® and the Optimization Module. Using just a few control variables, you can quickly come up with improved designs. Topology optimization is used to come up with entirely novel designs by allowing the material distribution within the modeling domain to vary.
