COMSOL Multiphysics® Advanced Topics (1 Day)

Oct 18, 2018 Redwood City, California 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Back to Events Calendar

In the Advanced Topics training course, we move beyond the traditional usage of finite element modeling as an analysis tool and show how the COMSOL Multiphysics® software can be used as a design tool. Through guided hands-on exercises, we will show how to introduce equation-based couplings and feedback into your multiphysics models.

This course builds upon the material in the 2-day COMSOL Multiphysics® Intensive course. The Advanced Topics course is designed for existing users of the COMSOL Multiphysics® software, who are comfortable operating the software and want to learn more about the unique and powerful features that can accelerate and improve their modeling and design workflow.

Please plan to check in between 8:30 am - 9:00 am.

  • Defining your own governing equations and couplings
  • Adding State equations and nonlocal couplings in steady-state and transient models
  • Implementing goal-seeking and design improvements
  • Process control modeling
  • Tuning the solvers when adding equations
  • Optimization
