Biomedical Modeling Using COMSOL Multiphysics® Webinar - Archived
Biomedical engineering is a very diverse and complex sector that often requires designing customized components and investigating phenomena that involve different areas of physics.
During this webinar, we will demonstrate how the COMSOL Multiphysics® software is used in the biomedical field. Examples include modeling blood flow, particle tracing, and simulating electrical tissue stimulation for treatment and diagnosis. We will also look into the software’s capabilities for modeling biomechanical applications, such as orthopedic components and geometries obtained from imaging. Furthermore, we will highlight some of the predefined multiphysics couplings available in COMSOL Multiphysics® that can be used to evaluate the temperature distribution due to heat dissipation or fluid-structure interaction in pumping systems or valves.
The webinar includes a live demonstration of the software and a Q&A session.
