Tune into this webinar to learn about Lagrangian particle tracking (LPT) simulations.
LPT is a numerical method for computing the paths of discrete solid particles, droplets, or bubbles in a continuous Eulerian phase. The continuous phase can be modeled separately with another algorithm, such as the finite element method (FEM).
You will learn how to subject the particles in an LPT simulation to a wide variety of forces including lift, drag, as well as electromagnetic and thermophoretic forces. You will also learn about special considerations for tracking particles in a turbulent flow.
The webinar will include a live demo in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software. Attendees can ask questions during the webinar and the concluding Q&A session.
