Ferromagnetic cores are important to many applications in the electronics and electric power industries. Example applications include inductors, transformers, chokes, electric motors, transducers, and sensors.

In this webinar, you will get a live demonstration of the magnetic modeling tools in COMSOL Multiphysics®, including the various options for describing ferromagnetic materials. We will show you how to treat cores with anisotropy, magnetic saturation, and hysteresis. We also discuss how to extract interesting characteristics such as voltages and currents, resistive and magnetic losses, hysteresis loops, and harmonic pollution.
