Tune into this webinar to learn how to simulate the motion of distinct particles in a fluid as they are subjected to a wide variety of external forces.

The Particle Tracing Module solves for the paths of discrete solid particles, droplets, and bubbles in a continuous background fluid phase. This phase can be modeled directly in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software.

You will learn how to subject the particles to predefined forces, including lift, drag, electromagnetic, and thermophoretic forces. You will also learn about special considerations for tracking particles in a turbulent flow. Some alternative methods of tracking the solid phase will also be introduced.

The webinar will include a live demo in the software and conclude with a Q&A session.
