In this presentation, we discuss the different approaches for simulating various types of flow through porous media. These include homogeneous approaches like Darcy’s law for slow flow and Brinkman equations for faster flow as well as multiphase and fully resolved pore-scale methods. This webinar includes a live demo of using a fully resolved pore-scale model to determine the homogeneous properties of flow for use at the macroscale level.
