The performance of microwave and RF products, components, and devices is influenced by many interacting physical effects, such as mechanical forces and heat transfer, which can affect electromagnetic properties. Traditional electromagnetics modeling lets you examine RF physics alone, but to see how other physics phenomena affect the design, you need multiphysics modeling.

During this webinar, you will see how simulation with COMSOL Multiphysics® allows you to extend your RF models to include effects such as temperature rise, structural deformations, and fluid flow. We will discuss how to model microwave and RF heating in antennas, circuit boards, living tissue, and devices that combine metallic and lossy dielectric domains.

The webinar includes a live demo and will conclude with a Q&A session.

Before joining COMSOL, he worked in opto-semiconductor startup and as a patent analyst in the fields of optics, robotics, and image processing.
