This is a recording of a webinar that originally aired on Dec 18, 2018

Back to Events Calendar

If you want to learn about some of the basic principles involved in modeling nonlinear materials for structural analysis, then this 18-minute webinar may be for you.

During a live demonstration in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software, we will simulate the necking of an elastoplastic bar and take you through the process of setting up, solving, and postprocessing the model. We will also discuss other nonlinear material behaviors, including hyperelasticity, viscoplasticity, and creep.
