Tune into this webinar to learn how to simulate heat transfer through porous media using COMSOL Multiphysics®.

The Heat Transfer Module in COMSOL Multiphysics® has robust interfaces for the modeling of heat transfer in porous media, accounting for both conduction and convection in the solid- and open-pore phases of the porous matrix.

In this webinar, you will learn how to model various types of porous media simulations, including evaporation and natural convection in porous media, nonisothermal flow in free and porous media flow, and geothermal and hydrothermal applications. We will also discuss the Local Thermal Non-Equilibrium multiphysics interface, which is designed to simulate heat transfer in porous media on the macro scale when the temperatures in the porous matrix and fluid are not in equilibrium.

This webinar will feature a live demonstration of modeling heat transfer in porous media with COMSOL Multiphysics®. You can ask questions throughout the presentation or at the end during the Q&A session.
