Learn about teaching heat transfer and phase change concepts using simulation in this webinar.

During the presentation, we will show you how conduction and convection can be modeled in COMSOL Multiphysics®. You will also see how lumped thermal equivalent circuit components can be used for heat transfer analysis, and how they can be coupled to the heat transfer finite element (FE) models. In addition, we will present various methods that can be used to account for the latent heat of phase change. We will also discuss how to handle material properties that vary as a function of temperature.

In addition, you will learn about developing specialized applications using COMSOL Multiphysics® and the built-in Application Builder. We will show you how heat transfer models can be transformed into easy-to-use apps, which can help students understand the concepts that are difficult to visualize and make learning more effective.

The webinar will include a live demo and conclude with a Q&A session.
