Small Question Regarding Livelink

Hi All,

I have been trying to build a model using the livelink interface between comsol and matlab.

The initial model was generated in comsol and runs using an iterative proceedure. COMSOL takes ~4hours to solve this problem.

I have exported the m file from this proceedure to the livelink. I have changed the geometry of the system to generate random sized spheres in order to simulated various porous geometries. This system meshes fine and the added code seems to run ok.

When the code reaches the line

model.sol('sol1').runAll;

the computational demand of the process drops to zero. It seems that the solver is stuck at some setting as I have left the proceedure running overnight with no further progress. I would expect the livelink to be faster than the comsol GUI as all graphics settings have been stripped away.

Any insight into the model.sol.('sol1').runAll proceedure would be greatly appreciated.

I can copy the code for the solver proceedures across if this would be helpful.

Also if you could suggest a different way of approaching this problem , through importing back into comsol, which i do not know how to do, that would also be helpful.
