Making a geometry of fixed catalyst bed

Hii

I am working on trickle bed reactor in 3D. Gas–liquid flows through a catalytic bed comprised of monosized, spherical, solid particles arranged in a cylindrical container of a pilot TBR unit (50mm internal diameter ×1.0m length). The cylinder should be filled with 13 layers where approximately 200 non-overlapping spherical particles of 2mm diameter were necessary for each axial layer with a gap of 2-3% of particle diameter in between two particles. I tried by making a spherical particle, then copy it, change the coordinates and then next particle and so on. Its difficult to get the coordinates of all particles. Can anyone help me in giving me an idea about creating this catalyst bed? I am using 4.0 version.

Thanks
