Temperature and Pairs

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Greeting,

I have some questions regarding COMSOL pairs and temperature, if anyone could help me i would be most appreciative.

First case, i have two walls with the area between unmeshed but the two walls are linked as contact and identity pairs, I am going to create a heat flux in on one wall, but in the expression i need to know the temperature on the wall the expression is acting on but i need the distance to the other wall and the temperature on the nearest point on the other wall. An idea of what i need is:

Heat flux in = (T(local) * T_at_other_wall_in_the_pair)/ shortest distance between the two.

An other problem i am having is in another part of my model I am coupling two equations but I must write Grad(T), i am not sure how to write that in.

Thank you Kindly
Rizgar Mella
