Temperature selection in stress optic design

I am new to Comsol and trying to simulate stress optic design given in wave optics module.
In design under solid mechanics ,thermal expansion option is given under linear elastic, one is T and other one is Tref. What is the meaning of these two temperature values and in which Temperature value I have to give 293.15[K].
