Discontinuity in the potential graph.

Hello, I am working on a model with two PDE, namely drift-diffusion equation and Poisson equation, 1D modeling. I have a sandwich of three areas and I apply some boundary conditions. In the interfaces I apply a ΦL = 0.75 V and a ΦR = 0.97 V. In addition, I apply 2 Volt in the edges (the other ground).

I expect a potential profile with discontinuity in the nodes where I applied the Dirichlet BC. However, I do not take the desire graph. I attach the image with the results.

For the first node I used a step function. However it does not work for the other node. Do you have any idea what can I try to change in order to get the right graph.

Thank you very much.
