Revolving Geometry including Properties

I have a question concerning the "Revolve"/"Extrude"-function of Comsol. I often set up a part of the model in 2d in order to see if it works. Then I extrude/revolve it into a 3d-geometry and add some features. Unfortunately, I always lose everything I specified in 2d (materials, boundaries, even the application modes etc.). Is it possible to keep the model specified even when it is in 3d instead of 2d?

Regards
