Model a torsion hinge connecting two beams

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, I am simulating the harmonic response of a structure composed of the following things :-

1) A beam
2) A torsion hinge
3) Another beam

The beams are Euler-Bernoulli. My model is 2D. I am unable to model the torsion hinge. I created the multibody physics study . Initially, I created a hinge joint. And added a "spring and damper" thing with k_theta (torsion coefficient) . But I was unable to select the boundaries of the two beams to form the hinge. For some reason, the domain selection gets turned on and I am unable to select the boundaries of the beams.

I tried using the rigid connector but that did not work as well. Please help I am pressed for a deadline!
