What is the secret of geometry in the mixer module?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I have been following one of the example models available (Modular Mixer-Laminar Template) and trying to get a mixing model of my own to work, but I am having trouble with my geometry. It is a simple cylinder, with no baffles, but I cannot obtain the correct outcome: 2 domains which are the mixing tank and the mixer unit (impeller). I noticed that in the aforementioned example, the flat-bottomed tank used was constructed using an internal cylinder (and taking the difference) i.e. where the impeller will be, so I tried this, but I am still unable to get things going. What is it I am missing? Any hints you can offer?

Thank you,

David
