Thermoelectric generator with high aspect ratio

The TEG device we designed uses very thin TE material (3.5nm), the thermol conductive/ electrical insulating layer between the P and N TE material layer is thicker (50~200nm), the length and the width of the device is much lager (um), so the calculation does not converge.

Is there any advice for meshing? I have tried sweeping and mapping mesh, still can not solve the problem.

If I take the TE material thin film as 2-D structure, how to set up the electrical current density on the surface? (normal current density-current density-J0) What's the expression on xyz direcion?

It seems that I can't upload my model, so may be my question is not clear enough. If you have any idea, please leave your email address, I will send you the model. Or contact me: zsy0226@zju.edu.cn

Trapped for a long time!! Hoping for your help! Thanks a lot!!
