Thermal Expansion doesn't leads to Displacement/Strain ?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi guys,

l built a simple model for Heat transfer in Building Materials. (File is attached)
Temperature in boundaries linearly decrease from 288 [K] to 258 [K].

I added a node in Solis Mechanics > Linear Elastic Material > Thermal Expansion.

But after time-dependent study, I can't see any thermal displacement/strain in results.

Any idea ?

Please notice that I couldn't add Thermal Expansion Multyphisics, as the former is overridden by it.

Thanks a lot in anticipation !
