without conjugate heat transfer module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am an intern, also a exchange student in a private company in US and I got a project about cooling an electrical devices few days before. We need to choose a fan according to result of the simulation. However, our licence does not contain the conjugate heat transfer module. Is it possible to do that by using heat transfer in fluids or solids module.

I am also very new for Comsol. My other issue is that I tried to do this simulation without cooling system in order to determine heat caused by radiation. But, when I identify the heat source, temperature keeps heating up for time dependent study. I also tried the heat flux out of the boundary but I couldn't succeed.

Thanks in advance,
