velocity profile

I'm using the slip velocity for the wall condition and I got the following velocity profile
can any one explain why this decrease in velocity near the wall, please.

spf.U is a resultant speed variable. Change the variable you are plotting to 'v' (y-axis velocity component) and there should be no negative speed.
