Condensation indicator

Hi

I am modelling heat and moisture transfer in closed chamber using heat transfer module and transport of diluted species module. In order to detect condensation in moist air I used the feature already available in comsol " condensation indicator". However I couldn't find any equation so far about how the "condensation indicator is calculated or the physics behind.

does anyone have any idea about the condensation indicator and how it is calculated ?

Kind regards Ahmed

Ahmed,

You can find equation for the condensation indicator in the Equation View node, as shown in the attached image. Condensation indicator "condInd" is set to 1 if relative humidity is 1 and 0 if relative humidity is less than 1.

Regards,

Sergei
