Radiative Flux / Convective Flux

Hi everyone,

I´m new to COMSOL and I´ve got some basic questions, for which I couldn´t find an answer. I´m simulating a kinda simple wall. Two opposing surfaces have the following properties: radiative and convective fluxes towards the ambient. The other surfaces are considered as adiabatic. On one side I added an additional heat flux.

I´m able to analyse the temperature profile (temperature at a specific depth (point) vs. time) and the sum of the heat fluxes (heatflux at a specific depth (point) vs time) through the model. I´ve got "intersection" points every 5 cm along the x-axis (0.00 ... 0.35 (x-coordinates), 0.15 (y-coordinate), 0.15 (z-coordinate)).

What I´d like to determine is the "loss term" convective flux at the point (0.0,0.15,0.15) over time. The same information would be needed for the radiative flux over time. Which means the actual "heat flux" towards the ambient in W/m² at each calculation step. When I try to choose the radiative flux at this specific point, COMSOL says, there are no informations available. My convective flux otherwise is always zero.

I appreciate all help! Thank you!

Best regards

Sebastian
