Determination of Sensitivity co-efficient of a PCF structure

I want to find relative sensitivity co-efficient of PCF structutre. It can be defined as, r=(nr/ne)f where, nr represents the refractive index of the material to be sensed, and ne is the modal effective index. Here, f is the fractional power located in the air holes which can be defined as,
f=[(∫_sample Re (Ex Hy- Ey Hx)dxdy ⁄ ∫_total Re (ExHy- Ey Hx)dxdy ] x 100 .......(1)

           where, Ex, Ey, and Hx, Hy are The transverse electric and magnetic fields of the guided mode are respectively.
            how can I determine f to calculate r?
