Hi All,

I am trying to calculate drag force and torque appiled on a sphere in laminar flow in water. The flow velocity is 2 m/s, and diameter of sphere is 10e-6 m . I do the calculations using reacf, but in comparison with the analythical solution which is Fd = 0.5CdρAv^2 and T= -8pimur^3w, my results from comsol are completely different! In the meantime, I see different results for half sphere ((F#0, T#0)) vs full sphere (F=0, T=0)! It seems force and stress distribution is uniform over the surface of object!! I would be very appreciate your help.

Best,
