the fatal error during installation

Hello,

when I installed COMSOL in my laptop, some errors appeared.

----begin fatal error (1)------ 12:13:16 vcredist_vc141_x64.exe excited with exit code 23 ----end fatal error (1)------

How to solve this problem?

Hi,

that is a pretty unusual error. Have you checked that you fulfill our system requirements: https://www.comsol.com/system-requirements

Did the installer install any files? If you look in C:\Program Files\COMSOL\COMSOL55\Multiphysics, is there a file comsolsetup.log there? Could you share that file?

If the error persists, please contact support@comsol.com.
